The SC-911 is a digital display thermometer for biofeedback, stress management and rehabilitation applications where simple monitoring of skin temperature is desirable.  This unit is particularly useful as a take-home practice device to supplement more sophisticated in-clinic training (i.e. NeuroDyne brand T3 Monitor Series, T30/T33 Clinical Series, or a System/3 computer based biofeedback system).

A large 3/4" LCD display shows temperature readings to 0.1° Fahrenheit resolution with temperature updates every two seconds.  Temperature range from 58 to 158° Fahrenheit (may also be set to display Celsius).  Battery life is rated at one year.

MONITORING NOTES
Temperature monitoring for relaxation training is most frequently done from a finger, such as the middle finger of either hand.  The sensor may also be attached to a toe.  A roll of Transpore tape is included with the SC-911 thermometer.  It is strongly recommended that use of this device for relaxation training purposes be carried out under the direction of a trained health care professional for maximum benefit.
