The
measurement of radon in outdoor air can be carried out with
the Radon Introductory Kit and the addition of a quantity of
radon-proof bags and an impulse heat sealer.
The
radon-proof bags are used with the E-PERM detectors to
determine the background gamma level which is subtracted
from the E-PERM readings to produce accurate measures of
low-level radon activity.
