-----------------------------------------
Please note the number of
participants per session is limited.

Many community health centres, podiatry clinics, hospitals, wound clinics and physicians provide specialized wound care and treatment. The techniques included in this course are successfully practised in several areas of the USA. Their effectiveness is well documented with extensive clinical evidence. The approach is one of active patient participation that is empowering to the patient and highly cost-effective for the health care system. Diabetes clinics are a steady source of referrals.

There is an urgent need for more effective wound treatment. Each amputation is a personal and financial disaster for the patient and produces a huge continuing liability for the health care system.
